The artificial intelligence research institute based on polymer structures (AIRP) intends to achieve technical and practical knowledge in the specialized fields of artificial intelligence in the field of plastic and polymer products production through study and research projects. In its perspective, this institute aims to be one of the top three research institutes in the country in the field of polymer with artificial intelligence by 1410.

Among the goals of this institute are:

1- Carrying out fundamental, practical and developmental research projects within the framework of Tehran university regulations
2- Designing, producing, consulting and monitoring in the field of computer software and hardware systems in the production of plastic and polymer products
3- Scientific management and guidance in the information and communication technology (ICT) in the production of plastic and polymer products
4- Taking advantage of the latest research results and scientific advances in all research stages in order to develop the goals of the institute
5- Compilation and presentation of scientific-practical trainings and advanced research courses in cooperation with universities
6- Conducting research based on new technologies and producing smart tools within the framework of the institute
7- Obtaining technical knowledge of products and creating knowledge enterprise by employing graduates and researchers of the institute
